NEWS RELEASE

BioSpan Technologies, Inc., Washington, Missouri has developed and patented a new, innovative material for extending the life of our asphalt roads. BioSpan's new product, RePlay? Asphalt Preservation Agent reduces the need to repair or patch roads by reversing the oxidation and moisture penetration, which are the major sources of road deterioration and pothole formation. RePlay will extend the useful life of treated road surfaces by 2-3 times their normal life span at a fraction of the cost of conventional road maintenance. What this means to you and I is that our roads will stay in better shape for a longer period of time, and at a lower cost.saving tax dollars for other uses.

RePlay Asphalt Preservation Agent is different from the surface seals normally used. RePlay penetrates into the asphalt matrix in 15 minutes and renews the asphalt while adding new polymers to the pavement. It cures in 15-20 minutes so roads don't have to be closed for any long length of time, and RePlay doesn't leave track marks or splash on to vehicles. RePlay actually helps repair small cracks by resealing them once traffic begins on treated roads.

RePlay is a DOMESTICALLY DERIVED AGRICULTRUALLY BASED PRODUCT! It contains soybean oil derivatives, and will not harm the environment. Our soybean farmers helped fund the research which lead to the discovery of RePlay Asphalt Preservation Agent with the soybean check off program. RePlay is environmentally safe, easy to apply, and the most cost effective product for asphalt road preservation.

BioSpan Technologies, Inc. is a research focused company based in Missouri.

Applied RePlay to newly constructed Township Rd 61 which was built for Honda Transmission Plant in Logan County
on May 24, 06.
To verify that sealant was making pavement impermiable we applied 10 grams water to 3 areas of pavement.

A sealed area on edge of white line.
Water after 10 minutes is in aprox. 3" circle.

A double sealed area between yellow lines
(overlap of RePlay at centerline) water still in 3" area.

And an unsealed area just off the end of project.
Here water has wicked in 7" area of asphalt.
Same mix done just off TR 61 on SR 274.
